The Brief
Show off Yugo’s luxury student housing through stills and motion. Spotlight key amenities including the yoga studio, gym, and pool in addition to the standard apartment unit. Bring life to the facility by showcasing a variety of students enjoying the space.
The Execution
Pre-production | After Hua scoped out the location and secured the talent, I developed shots and transitions to be captured in the key locations. I then organized the shots into concept buckets for the final videos in collaboration with Hua and Brooke. Finally, I coordinated with Mae on wardrobe and sourced props to support each scene.
On Set | I designed each backdrop to show lives lived to the fullest. From a gallery fridge utilizing polaroids taken throughout the shoot to making nachos and blowing up inner tubes, I personalized each set. Throughout the shoot, I aided Hua and Alex in directing the scenes and always remained a step ahead in setting up the next scene for shooting.
Post-production | Once Hua completed the final cuts of the spots using Alex’s dynamic film, I created gifs using key footage for use on social.
